In 2014, Ember Therapeutics had acquired the exclusive, global license to the OP-1 and BMP-7 portfolio from Stryker Corporation. Earlier, the OP-1 product portfolio generated $100 million in Stryker’s annual revenue and had been viewed as a challenging competitor to Infuse by Medtronic. This agreement allows Ember continues to focus on its exciting late-stage osteoarthritis program which offers the effectiveness of addressing the actual cause of the condition by re-growing cartilage in the knee.
