The global rain RFID market is estimated to grow at a significant CAGR during the forecast period. RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification and refers to a wireless technology that consists of two parts, tags and readers. The reader is a device that emits radio waves and receives signals from the RFID tag through one or more antennas. RFID Tags are both type passive and active for communicating their identification and other information to nearby readers through radio waves. Passive RFID tags do not have a battery and are powered by the reader. Batteries are used to power active RFID tags.

This tag is appropriate for a broad range of products and applications with the capability of an EAS secondary loss prevention tag. Avery Dennison has invented one more double technology design that is the AD- 362R6 and a single die-cut label for the electronic article surveillance.
