The Global Wireless Infrastructure Market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.6% during the forecast period. The wireless infrastructure refers to the networking framework that allows devices to interact with one another via access points. The expansion of the wireless infrastructure industry is being fuelled by the rising use of 4G and 5G data networks. Wireless networks are being used by the government, IT, and telecom industries throughout the globe to improve their tasks, which has a favorable influence on the growth of the wireless infrastructure industry. The expansion of the wireless infrastructure industry is also fuelled by the rising usage of cloud computing and artificial intelligence in telecom applications.

The key factor driving wireless infrastructure market growth is increasing penetration of internet of things throughout the globe. This, together with the introduction and increasing adoption of 4G and 5G technology, is driving the market forward. Furthermore, the increasing adoption of IoT-based electronic devices, as well as the increase in mobile data traffic, will drive the wireless infrastructure market globally. For instance, CDPQ, based in Canada, agreed to buy a 30% minority share in Vertical Bridge Holdings, LLC, a US-based subsidiary, in April 2019. The Florida-based subsidiary is in the business of supplying wireless communication infrastructure in North America. Vertical Bridge Holdings expects to use this purchase to develop its operations in the region by deploying 5G infrastructure.

In May 2020, Sisgeo collaborated with World sensing, a leading wireless geotechnical monitoring system, to provide clients with automatic readings when using Sisgeo's version 3 digital protocol sensors with World sensing’s load sensing. It works with Sisgeo borehole-profile in-place liquid settlement systems, inclinometers, and load cells, tiltmeters, extensometer probes, multipoint borehole extensometers extensor-inclinometer probes, and, rail deformation systems among other devices.
