France electric bus market is estimated to grow at a significant CAGR during the forecast period (2019-2025). The growing adoption of electric vehicles in the country to deal with the rising environmental concerns is one of the major factors to drive the growth of the market.
In addition, the country’s plan to implement a fully electric public transport system by 2024 tends to drive the growth of the France electric bus industry. In January 2020, the French city of Orléans intends to procure 180 electric buses as a part of this plan. The first 29 electric buses made by Spain’s Irizar are to go into operation in the first half of 2021.
