Global cancer registry software market is anticipated to grow at a significant CAGR of 10.5% during the forecast period (2023-2030). The growing focus of non-profit organizations in the development and promotion of cancer registry software is driving the growth of the global cancer registry software market. In July 2023, Dallas-based Susan G. Komen, one of the world’s leading nonprofits raising money for breast cancer research, awareness, and community programs launched a cloud-based research platform specifically for breast cancer patients and survivors to share their health data with the organization. The platform is part of a Komen-led initiative called ShareForCures, which aims to revolutionize the way health data are collected and used for groundbreaking research.

Further, in October 2020, MOVEMBER announced to launch of the world’s largest network of prostate cancer patient registries which will have the power to transform treatment and care of the disease by harnessing the ‘real world’ experiences of over 130,000 men. The global ‘super network’ is believed to be the first of its kind. It will contain detailed clinical information on the diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship of prostate cancer patients from over 15 countries. Movember is aiming to grow the network to include data on 250,000 men within the next five years.
It will improve patient access to digital survivorship resources such as Movember’s True North initiative, which provides men and their families with treatment information and tailored lifestyle advice. This enables them to manage the physical and mental side effects of living with cancer, as well as the long-term side effects of treatment. To deliver this ambitious project, Movember has entered into a partnership with Montreal-based Electronic Data Capture (EDC) and registry software company Dacima Software Inc. (Dacima) to design and develop a new registry database.
