Recent Developments

  • In January 2024, Mercury introduced electric outboard motors, the Avator 7.5e and 75e. The new models double the power of any previous Avatar product, adding new on-water performance capabilities. The 75e and 110e offer up to 7.5 kW and 11 kW, respectively, and integrate with the Avator ecosystem, sharing custom propellers, tiller, color display, remote controls, and Mercury Marine app functionality.
  • In October 2023, ePropulsion introduced the X40 Electric Outboard. The outboard offers 40 kW of power and equivalent performance to a 60 HP fossil fuel outboard. The X40's hydrodynamic efficiency is achieved through a proprietary algorithm, resulting in smoother rides and lower energy consumption.
  • In November 2024, Evoy Vita partnered with Axopar to launch the AX/E electric boat sub-brand in the US. The sub-brand features the Evoy Storm 300+ HP motor, which offers excellent acceleration, torque, and rapid charging while minimizing environmental impact.
